PORT

"Szkuner" Ltd. manages the seaport in Wladyslawowo. It is the largest fishing port in Poland, and it was established in 1938.

Between 1986 -1996 the port was completely renovated and modernized.

In addition to being the base port, repairing fishing boats and having well-developed fish

processing facilities, the port in Wladyslawowo also performs the function of a shelter.

In 2002 the first phase of the marina construction was put into use - a functional marina for 20 vessels and their crews.

Every year, hundreds of yachts from the country and abroad visit the harbour.

The Port in Władysławowo is a tourist attraction and performs recreational functions. Since 1994, the port has been open for tourists. Several Fish and Chips shops operate within the port, including one owned by "Szkuner."

Apart from sightseeing, one can also undertake a sea voyage on one of a dozen fishing boats, specially adapted for tourist transport.

The history of the port and work at sea is a subject of a special exhibition, located in

Memorial House of the Port. It was opened in 1998.

The Port is a place eagerly visited by anglers. Several dozen units specialize in sea angling. The fishing port in Wladyslawowo holds annual fishing competitions. It also hosts regular events, during which one can listen to music and taste fish specialties.

The Port also provides transport and transshipment services. It may be entered by trade units up to 70 metres long and with a 4 metres draught.

Fishing port in Wladyslawowo has got a safety certificate issued by the Maritime Office in Gdynia, which means that it meets the requirements of Solas Convention and the ISPS Code.

W latach 2004-2008 Przedsiębiorstwo Połowów i Usług Rybackich SZKUNER korzystało ze środków pomocowych Unii Europejskiej - Instrumentu Finansowego Wspierania Rybołówstwa w ramach Sektorowego Programu Operacyjnego "Rybołówstwo i przetwórstwo ryb 2004-2006".

Obecnie firma korzysta ze środków SPO "Zrównoważony rozwój sektora rybołówstwa i nadbrzeżnych obszarów rybackich 2007-2013".
