Navigational Information
PPUiR "Szkuner" also manages the Władysławowo seaport. This is Poland's largest fishing harbor. 90 fishing vessels are kept here, fishing from 25,000 to 35,000 tons of fish a year.

In the years 1986-1996 the harbor was thoroughly reconstructed and modernized.

Currently the Władysławowo port is capable of delivering all services provided in major harbors. Apart from being a base harbor and a repair facility for fishing vessel Władysławowo operates well-developed fish-processing infrastructure and  a port of refuge. Well situated next to the best cod-fishing areas, during the storm period it becomes a port where several dozen (30-40) fishing vessels from harbors such as Kołobrzeg, Ustka, Dziwnów, Jastarnia seek refuge. These vessels, while forced to stop their fishing cruises temporarily, use the stopover time to complete food and fuel supplies onboard, purchase ice and repair their equipment.

On 19.07.2002 marina construction phase one was finished and put into service: floating bridges, Y - booms and sanitary facilities for boaters. The whole creates a small but functional yacht's port for 20 units and their crews. "Szkuner" marina is visited by more and more boats in Poland and abroad.

Władysławowo harbor also plays vital role as a tourist resort and a recreation center. Since 1994 the port has been opened to tourists. Everyone is invited to come and examine the work of fishermen or watch a fishing vessel in the course of construction. The major tourist attraction is "Liwia", a floating fish bar, adapted from an old fishing boat. In the harbor operates several bars, restaurants, fish, including the Company's "Szkuner", which welcome you. Apart from touring, one can embark for an hour-long cruise on a genuine fishing vessel (which for summer are adapted to transport tourists). In 2006 approximately 60,000 tourists used this opportunity /at 9 different types of units - from vessels fishing boats after the Vikings/.

In order to acquaint tourists with the harbor's history and with the seafaring chores of the past, in 1998 we opened the Port Memorial Building in the harbor. It houses a museum of fishery and of the Władysławowo harbor, with miniature exhibits on display. The museum prides in having a very large number of never-yet-published photos from the years 1935-1995 /including the period of harbor construction/. One of the most interesting exhibits is the replica of the fishing vessel general Józef Haller used on his sea trip on "real sea" a day after the "Poland's wedding to the sea", an event held in the bayside harbor of Puck /10.02.1920/.

The port has become a place gladly visited by anglers who catch fish not only from wharves, but primarily from the decks of fifteen boats specializing in maritime fishing.
In June each year take place on International Fishing Championship Cup of Director of "Szkuner", and in September "Festival Dorsza" Mayor Władysławowa cup.

There are also organized in the port periodically events such as: "Feast Kaszubska", "Fish in Władyslawowo", during which you can listen to good music and, of course, eat savory fish. Tourism and recreation in the port is also sailing. In addition to the great professional events such as World and Europe Championships, welcome at the port are ordinary sailors. Every year, the port is visited by hundreds of boats from the country and abroad.

The port  plays a role alson in transport and handling of cargoes other than fish. Merchant vessels of 70 m in length and of 5 m draught may enter the harbor. The port's capacity in this respect is not fully taken advantage of, though.

Port just as other Baltic Sea ports  the Władysalwowo is a border pass. Customs clearances are performed by officers of Władysławowo branch of Gdynia Customs House.

For all matters concerning the port the Director of Port Administration branch can be contacted (weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.), tel. no. +48 58 677-74-56 or the Port Service (open around the clock), tel. no. +48 58 677-74-68.
